"Tracker" model differences?

Is there any difference in the ‘tracker’ model motors of the 90’s compared to regular models? Just a marketing ploy?

US MEMBER PAY BY CHECK
In OMC’s case just decals and color. Oh & T in front of the E/J on the model number.
