I used OMC rattle can white touch up paint on the inside of the lower motor cowling. Not real gloosy and would like to do a rattle can clear coat. Is there a good brand?

Use a 2 part clear, one with a button on the bottom, to ensure fuel resistance.

SprayMax 2K glamour high gloss clear coat 368 0061 is what I used on some remote tanks, it’s 2 part and must be some serious stuff, you need a pretty good respirator.

If you used an original OMC paint spray bomb, I’d attempt to find a compatible clear to match it. If both cans say System Matched on them, you should be OK. You have to remember that mixing different paints and clears doesn’t always work. Lacquers and enamels don’t usually like each other.

I should mention that a paint which has been aged, or allowed to fully cure, might accept a coat of clear without wrinkling or lifting. Just sayin… ☺
