RBM thread size?

      US MEMBER PAY BY CHECK

      Anybody know the thread size on a 1918 Evinrude RBM Carb needle valve screw? Looks like #12 x ??tpi but I have nothing to try in the hole. I need to make a needle valve to replace the missing one.

        Talk to Chris Scratch. I believe he has made a few and would know the thread size. Also check with Brook Newcomb as he is the SIG leader for Evinrude RBM’s.

              I turned a 12-24 thread on a piece of rod and it screwed right into the carb. So I went ahead and made a needle. Should oughta work.
