RD Crank Seal Repacement

See pics – surprised it ran at all. Once mag plate is removed can seal be replaced w/out further disassembly?

It might not be seal leakage at all. It might just be over enthusiastic lubrication of the mag plate mounting parts. Vibration and heat can liquify the grease which then splatters all over the place.

If you decide the seal is leaking, club member richardsoutboardtools.com reproduces the special seal remover tool
