Rebuild Tilt Assist Shock on 62 Merc 700

Has anyone had a tilt assist shock rebuilt and can recommend a place to do it? I have two of these large shocks on my motor that provide zero tilt assist, I think they are just old and shot and it’s a heavy engine! I looked online and found a couple old used ones that may or may not be any good, but figured perhaps I could just send these in for rebuild instead.

The shocks are NOT TILT ASSIST.

Are they just transom savers then?
