Just found and added to my collection 3 outboards. One is a LYNITE apposed cylinder, one is a SOUTH BEND MOTOR CO OUTBOARD MORTORS CORP .apposed cylinder, and the third is a
JOHNSON #A6414 apposed cylinder. Can anyone tell me when these were made. Also would like to know where the LYNITE was made.

Lynite is the aluminum alloy Johnson used for cast parts. The one marked South Bend sounds like an OMC model, and #6414 is a late 1923 motor.I assume all 3 are Johnsons. The rope plate on top of the flywheel should have model stamped.Pictures would verify ID.
