      Finishing up a 1965 British Seagull and need some advice on the recessed lettering on the flywheel.  It’s all but gone, and I am wondering what people do to repaint the recessed lettering to make it look original.

        I do mercury stuff that is recessed. clean things up good then light spray and wipe with lacquer thinner.  then use wet dry sandpaper to match the finish.Hope it helps.
