      This ready pull is not original (I don’t think) to this 1958 fastwin. Not sure what the two screw holes near the handle are for. Any idea what model this one would be from?

        Appears to be off a ’59 or later. I’ll send you a diagram..

          I believe they hold the assembly that blocks some of the opening around the pull handle in the cowling.

            Dan is correct. They do hold part of the rope plate assembly that fills in the hole in the cover on later motors. If I can remember I’ll post a picture tonight.
