How do I set up my kg7 for remote steering. I don’t have a steering wheel yet.
I see that old merc store has a steering bar and throttle conector.
Anyone know where I can get the parts ?
I am new to this stuff (im 16). Thanks for the help.

I make steering bars from 1/8" x 1" steel bar, or heavier aluminum. Drill holes to match the place in the steering bracket for that purpose. I use plastic-coated steel cable from the hardware store, and nylon wheel/brass pulleys. You can include a spring in the steering loop to take out slack, but I don’t. I fit it taunt and it stays that way. You need a deadman throttle, a proper length of Bowden cable, and a butterfly attachment, which you can make if handy with tools. Remove the butterfly pickup thing from under the throttle/mag lever. Here’s my homemade throttle connector. Whistle if I can help further. Cheers, JW
