Anyone have a source for aftermarket / replacement numbers for the side of the cowl? I’m deep into a restoration & need one (1) set of numbers.

Any ideas? I’ve scoured the ‘net, but I’m not finding much.

They are made on "unobtanium". Your best bet is to look for somebody parting out a Javelin or buy a whole motor for parts. There are front "seahorse" emblems reproduced, but I’ve never seen the numbers…..but I don’t know everything. so maybe…..

The was a guy in the Canadian club that was reproducing them at one point. I think his name is Sandy Lup??

I’ve read that javelin1957 website, and while I haven’t e-mailed to any of the links contained in it, my experience is that websites that haven’t been updated in a decade are usually loaded with bad links…

I’ll e-mail Lupo and see if he has anything.

E-mailed Lupo….no reply. I keep searching eBay, without luck.
