What’s the proper ring gap for a 1950 Johnson PO-15 and how do you calculate it !
It’s in the 3rd Edition OMC Manual, page 220…….. .005 to .012 gap.
I think a general rule of thumb is about .003″ gap, per cylinder diameter. Hence, a 2″ bore’s ring gap about .006.
