Hi guys, I finally was able to start and run this ruddertwin several times. I want to thank Richard,Mumbles, and Tubs for your help and suggestions on this motor. Richard was right on about finding the settings this motor liked. Tubs suggestion to close off adj.needle got the motor firing, then opening the valve 1/2 turn made it run best.Mumbles instructions also helped. It ran and idled really slow. I now love this motor. A love/hate relationship with an outboard is nothing new.. It wanted to run hot in test tank, is this normal? Thanks, Bill

VERY normal in a test tank to run hot, get it on a boat and you will REALLY enjoy this masterful creation…
