Hi guys I was wondering if anyone has come up with a way to run one of their motors that has a built in tank like most do without having the tank on the motor? I am specifically wondering about a zephyr. Mine keeps sucking crap through the tank and plugging up the carb even though I have tried cleaning the tank out a few times. I was wonderin if there was some way to run a line from the fuel line on the engine to a water bottle or something full of fuel I can hang above the engine. This would simply be for testing purposes to make sure I don’t have bigger issues. I still haven’t heard this old girl come to life so I was thinking it would be one way to bypass one of the known problems I have. Has anyone done something like this just to test your motor for a minute?

It has an eyebolt in the screw cap in the upper end so I can hang it. Very safe and simple. Gas will not harm PVC. It also works fine with remote tank motors and with motorcycles, which is why I made it.
