Sea king piston rings

I have a 57 sea king gg88719b 12 hp. I’ve currently got it running well but I want to do a full redo over the winter. I have a parts list and it shows the bore is 2.25" the ring part number is 552172. Google searches bring up nothing and I couldn’t find any superseded part numbers. Anyone know of a ring that will work? Or can it be bored out to the 2-3/8" 15hp piston size? They’re probably more common. Thanks.

552172 (single ring) is superseded by 593426 (set of 3 rings). marineengine.com has plenty of them.
