I have a great running Sears engine. The only problem is the fuel line connector leaks, when it is attached to the engine Sears model 574-59932 McCulloch # 68600712-20-07 I think the McCulloch number is correct. This is a low profile 7.5hp, I think from the 60’s. My question is about the connector. It looks like the center part of the connector is threaded or pressed into the body of the connector. I would like to remove the center part and replace the internal “O” rings.
ANY ONE HAVE EXPERIENCE TAKING THIS THING APART? ANY HELP OR IDEAS APPRECIATED. Any one know the model year for this engine, or where I can get a new connector
      Thanks

      John

It will come apart to change the O ring but you might have to heat it up a bit to loosen the sealer between the two main pieces.
