I am restoring a Johnson HD 25 outboard and need a service manual. I checked the Boatinfo site and it shows a red manual; however, it requires the obsolete Flash Player program to open it. Does anyone have any information on how to get one of these service manuals?

you should be able to open it if you AUTHORIZE the openning of ADOBE FLASH PLAYER on your PC

in WINDOWS EDGE… go to the top right 3 dots ….

Open PARAMETERS in the list

in PARAMETERS… open COOKIES AND SITE AUTHORISATION in the left panel

in COOKIES AND SITE AUTHORISATION chose ADOBE application

in ADOBE… activate DEMAND AUTHORIZATION EVERY TIME BEFORE OPENING

btw official members of AOMCI have access to download the book 🙂

next time you go to the info site you will be asked to authirize the use of flash player … just OK ad will will have access to the LIBRARY then JOHNSON then RED BOOK

above iinstructions are a translation of my french windows/edge SW some some words can vary a bit but it work everytime for me

All I have is a parts manual but if you PM me your email address, I’ll send you a copy of the red Johnson Tenth Edition Service Manual as the file is too big to attach here.

One thing you will definitely need are new Leather Primer Pump Seals and instructions with diagrams on how to install them not available anywhere else.

I see that the red service manual is in Gary’s Drop Box.
Just wondering if all that information in Gary’s drop box is secure?
Is Gary still “among us”? He hasn’t been seen or heard on this forum
for a long time.
