shift rod O ring

Think I found the right shift rod O- ring. It’s metric. The O-Ring store 4.5mmx6mm Buna-n-70. They are a bit snug in the hole in the lower unit. I put the shift rod in the hole and slide the greased O ring over the rod . Then tease the ring into the hole, followed by the bushing. Then tap the bushing tight . I have a bunch If you send me a PM, I can send you a few. Or go to The O-Ring store. They are very cheap. I have only tried it on a few motors, but they all tested 15psi/15sec. Worth a try

Go to the web site. Click on Buna-n-Nitrile (NBR) metric o-rings 70 durometer. Scroll down the green numbers to 4.5mmcs x 6mm. $0.26 each. It’s the first item
