Should I buy Lauson outboard?

I’d buy that for $100. But then I have a basement and garage full of motors and I never made a dime off anything made before 1970!

I just talked to the guy some more, and he said he’d take $85 for it, but I’m still on the fence on it. Can someone convince me either way? It’s also about 100 miles away from my house…

I myself wouldn’t go more than $35.00 on a motor like that. After all the time driving, cleaning, replacing seals, decals, etc. you would be lucky to get $75.00 for it. Unless you want it for the pure enjoyment of having it then that’s a whole different matter.
