I was reading a 1948 outboard book last night,
and it mentioned "Skipper" outboards.
I’ve never heard of that one.
An internet search says they were made by
Muncie Gear Works, but that it wasn’t known
who sold them, i.e., a certain hardware store.Anyone have a photo of one or old advertisements
that might say who sold them?Prepare to be boarded!

May 18, 2017 at 12:10 pm #57904Goman, I don’t think Muncie Gear Works had anything to
do with that one. Looks like it has Eska DNA.Prepare to be boarded!
