Is it me or is the decal on backwards? On the wrong side, correct? Otherwise, a decent looking motor!

Well yeah, someone has replaced the decals with 1957 decals and put the round emblem in the wrong spot. Looks like the used a 1958 Lightwin decal as well

Yes – wrong paint job and left decal on the right side – and visa-versa – few changes were made in these outboards over the years. Very dependable but people still seem to be able to find ways to screw it up . . . 😆
