      It seems I’m having trouble searching for old threads on the boards has anyone have the old spark plug charts that might include a Johnson k40? It came with R-7’s not sure that’s the right plug

        R-7 is correct for your engine

          Cool, I thought r-7’s were for racing motors only….
          glad to hear this motor was ran with the correct plugs !
