Interesting, is the battery under the hood? What do you need water cooling for? Do you want to sell those 15hp medallions?

September 13, 2025 at 12:47 am #299857fastwin18, that is a remarkable creation. Great work. Did you happen to use West System epoxy? If so, you should submit your project to their magazine ” Epoxyworks” … If you didn’t use their stuff, still worthwhile getting the West System magazine , its free and has lots of good “how too” info about epoxy and its uses. They would love your story…
check out “epoxyworks magazine”

Thanks for the tip Joe. I did not use West system but I’ll give their magazine a closer look
September 13, 2025 at 4:13 am #299858The battery is too big to fit under the hood. At the moment there’s only a new frame to keep the cowling face plate on, the engine speed controller (the black box) and the water pump. The speed controller can get quite hot when running at high power (above 3000 Watt) and needs cooling. I’m going for a test on the water today. If everything works as expected I will clean up the cables under the hood.
I think I’ll hang on to the medallions for now 🙂

With all that wood on there you might have trouble keeping your prop in the water.
A "Boathouse Repair" is one thats done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.
