        You’re going to have to help me out here: How do you turn that lower unit around (or the upper unit, possibly) so that the motor goes forward?

            Gas tank faces forward on them.

            A "Boathouse Repair" is one thats done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.

              That’s kind of neat. Is it difficult to pull the starter rope over the gas tank?

                I have one of those on the to do rack that someone gave me a couple years ago in trade for a season boat launch pass,neat little motor,just haven’t gotten around to tinkerin with it.

                    I did notice the forward facing tank, but your questions made me look at it more and wonder, where is the throttle on these? The Handle? And is that a kill button on the end of the handle? Interesting. I am going to look on youtube and see if there are any videos, I will post em if I find them. They are unique.

                      it is a kill button. Could not locate a video. I think throttle lever is on top between rope sheave and tank.

                        Kinda odd looking. It has a look only a new owner could love. Is it considered a long shaft?
