starting a Johnson MS39

Just bought a Johnson MS39, (based on the serial no.) was told that it runs, but i can’t read the decal and have now other knowledge on starting procedures. Any help would be appreciated

You have a gem. I too purchased one last spring, lacking tank, spark plug cover, fuel line to carburetor, and lever on magneto. I have
not been able to find any of these, so if you have a complete one, you are ahead of the game. Gas/oil mix is 8 oz of oil to one gallon of
gas. Advance magneto to right, choke is lever on left and throttle lever is on tiller handle. Pull rope sharply, and after it starts, reduce
choke as it warms up.
