I don’t know what these are called, but my 1964 Starcraft is in need of replacement of about 5 of them. I have looked for them on the web and can’t find them at all. I’ve gone to local boat stores and they don’t have them… I once found them online but they only had them in black – I really want to keep them in the original white. Perhaps they are called grommets? Anyway, I am including a photo of one that is still on the boat, one that shows one of the steering holes that needs one and a photo of one that has broken off. I believe the inner width is 2.5″. Does anyone know where I can find them? Or at least what they are called?

      Thanks in advance.

      Humbly yours,
      Marc

I’ve seen them. Looks like yours are weathered/embrittled by sunlight. If you can find them at all, maybe paint them to match?

I cannot suggest a source for the very long discontinued “white” 2.5″ grommets, but we likely do have a few new 3″ (mounting hole diameter) black grommets on hand.

Moeller & T&H Marine make them from my supplier Donovan Marine Supply, but only in black. Several different types, but nothing in the style you have with two attachment points. I recognized those because I just took a StarCraft apart for scrap. Not sure any of those survived as they looked about like yours. I believe the name tags did if you need them? FREE, just pay the shipping. Even saved the little screws.
