Cruising somewhere, possibly in the old posts on some forum, and found some interesting info on steering wheel repair. The repair info is on one of the many web pages dealing with working on old Imperials cars. The info can be found at http://www.imperialclub.com/Repair/Steering/wheel.htm
Also of interest is the Eastwood site that has a lot of products that could be useful. Not sure how old the Imperial write up is but the product numbers have all changed. You’ll note if you get into it that the products they used are not the same ones included in the steering wheel restoration kits. Not sure why the difference but apparently the ones used by the Imperial club work.
