      Does this unit plug into 110 volts? I didn’t know Steven’s made
      so many gadgets for the outboard industry.

          That looks to be a substitute for the remote control harness on one of the newer engines with the “system check” wiring. I’m not sure just what the stray purple lead is for, but this box does not require any external power to operate.
          Again, this box is of no use to you unless you are working on 96 or newer OMCs with the system check wiring…

            I seen it on EBay and made me curious. Guess it’s for outboards about
            60 years too new for me!
