A "Boathouse Repair" is one thats done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.

I’ve been trying to clean out that filter
for 3 years. Its a 3 hp. my son-in-law
uses to fish. When he got down to
the last 1/4 of a tank it wouldn’t run.
Wish I had known before I cut the
fuel line and put in an inline. Won’t
take much to put it back the way
it’s suppose to be. By the time I’m
done I’ll probably end up being close
to the $40.00 one at MarineEngine.comA "Boathouse Repair" is one thats done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.
July 27, 2017 at 11:26 pm #62294Yeah, works fine if you keep the tank at least half full. Problem with an inline filter is that it doesn’t keep crud in the tank from clogging the petcock. Ask me how I know! I guess it’s better to pay the price rather than get stranded on the lake because of an old plugged filter or a plugged petcock.
