      Hi,

      Looking to chase the threads…what is the thread size. Looks like 14mm for J6C? What is the pitch??

        Mas,

        The thread size is 14mm diameter, by 1.25mm pitch.

            It has been my experience that internal threads usually strip at the top. Often I can’t get the tap to start in alignment with the good threads in the bottom. Then it’s insert time. The next tool I order will be a one of these. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Powerbuilt-6408 … 84&vxp=mtr

            There are a few mfg’s out there one is Jeg’s. I have no experience with this tool but it looks promising. Any other members have experience with a back tap?

                Try Northerntool.com. Que sparkplug tap. $6.99 plus shipping. It works real well for chasing both 14mm and 18mm holes. Ed
