      Hi,

I have a 1960’s Aroliner Cabinaire I am restoring for someone special with a 1957 Merc Mark Turbo Four. The boat never came with throttle controls so I found an old quicksilver dual control lever type that will work great. Trouble is, the 2 cables are too short. Mine are about 10-11 ft, and I think I need at least 14.

Wondering if anyone needs short cables or would consider a trade or can point me in the right direction to getting replacements.

Also, I’ve heard there is a technique to lengthen these somehow. I looked on the forums but could not find it. If anyone has any advice, that would be great.
