      Anyone familiar with MD carbs I need float setting procedure

        I can’t believe this one hasn’t been answered yet… I might have the exact procedure someplace; as I think my Scott 16s use an MD. However, I am pretty sure that if you hold the carb upside down and set the float parallel to the carb body, you will be VERY in-the-ballpark.

          Same here Bill, I know I have it somewhere. I took a chance and set it like that. It’s on a Scott Atwater 1-16. Any tips making the fuel shut off shut off? It leaks and the needle and seat leaked so it made a mess.

            My Seloc Chrysler service manual says the float should be parallel to and even with the edge of the casting. Of course you know you must remove the high speed needle valve before separating the bowl from the body or the needle may be bent. . . 😉
