      US MEMBER PAY BY CHECK

      Does the chisel mark on the lower edge of flywheel indicate  when the points should open? Like maybe just as it is in alignment of edge of timer handle. With my points set at .020″ the mark on flywheel is about 5/8″ before timer handle.

        When the mark on the flywheel aligns with the one on the mag plate the points should just be opening and pistons approaching top of stroke.

          Yep, I just came in from the shop to say I removed mag plate and saw the timing mark.
