I have a carb for a TN-28 that I recently purchased and the carb is leaking like crazy. All of the screws appear to be seated correctly the only passage that I have noticed is in the image below. There is gas leaking out of it, but I am not sure if a screw was not replaced or if this is a vent of some sort and flooding may be occurring. Would this still flood with the fuel turned of? I would love some input to get this motor back and running.

Current conditions for the motor. The fuel petcock and fuel vents are closed.

Um, I don’t know, but I think the hole is supposed to be there and open. I stand to be corrected if I’m wrong.

Both my TN-26 and TD-20 have the hole there…
