I bought an old trailer and assumed it was homemade.  It has some unique features that lead me to think there might be more to it.  The seller said it had a 1954 Dunphy on it.  There is an adjustable cradle to support the back of the boat, and a series of keel rollers with grease fittings on each.  The winch is mounted under the frame with a pulley located above to pull the boat on the trailer.  Perhaps it was custom built for the Dunphy boat.  I have included some pictures.  Any feedback would be appreciated.

That certainly is different. If custom built, someone sure put a lot of work into it. How is the suspension designed? can’t tell from the pix. That may give a hint if commercial or home built.

that trailer sure looks to be too short for a boat. the transom would hang back and have NO SUPPORT. looks that way in the PIC.

It has a square tube axle with dual leaf springs and shocks.  I wish it had some adjustment so I could get more tongue weight.

I was thinking about shortening the trailer and putting a 12 foot boat on it.
