Tuning a 1955 Muncie Neptune AA1

Engine starts ok, but runs only at medium speed. When I move throttle up or down it stalls. Main adjustment screw on carburetor is bent and could be reason for interrupted gas flow to carburetor. I’m attempting to purchase a new screw from Discount Marine Parts in Bark River, Michigan. Also maybe a faulty manifold could be the problem. Engine ran great in early spring. Any other suggestions?

Put broken or shorted wire on your list of things to check.

A "Boathouse Repair" is one thats done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.
