Type of paint to use in a rebuild?

I have a 1949 3.3hp Evinrude 2 cyc.
The exterior paint is totally shot! What type of paint should I use in my rebuild process?
Automotive?? Powder coating??

Google Reprotint paint and see if they have the paint for that engine.

A clear coat looks nice after the sand and paint process.

You can also find a lot of engine decals on line as well as needed.
