      I have a 1949 3.3hp Evinrude 2 cyc.
      The exterior paint is totally shot! What type of paint should I use in my rebuild process?
      Automotive?? Powder coating??

        Google Reprotint paint and see if they have the paint for that engine.

        A clear coat looks nice after the sand and paint process.

        You can also find a lot of engine decals on line as well as needed.

          Both Reprotint and NY Marine will have the correct 1949 paint colors available in either spray can or pints/quarts.
