Under Hood Evinrude Decal

Does anyone know if the Starting/Operating decal under the hoods of classic Evinrudes from the fifties is available anywhere?

I’ve searched and can’t find anything.

I don’t think anyone sells them. I asked Peter at nymarine about it once and he said "no one ever asks for that one" so he doesn’t reproduce it.

This Decal can be reproduced. Contact Dixie Hammack. She is listed in the club directory. She would need a picture of the decal next to a measuring tape or if you send the part with the original she can work off of that. I have used her in the past and she does excellent work.

It’s too late to scan this one now as I beaded all of the parts for my ’55 Big Twin project yesterday, but, I do have a local sign painter who has scanned and printed nice vinyl decals in the past for me. Maybe I should get him to scan one of my other ones and make a run of them like fifty or so. I should be able to get a good deal and pass it on. ☺

Look at the tank decals at NYMarine, I think 1 or 2 of them has something similar. I know I saw something similar while looking at their decals recently. My local sign shop could do it too, they did the decal for my Gale motor stand.
