The 1938 was one of last years winter projects, and the 37 I did this year, along with the Cub and the OA-55. Hope to take them all on vacation. Plan is to be running the 2 Pals together. https://youtu.be/WNQu4OswtaQ

The OA-55 looks outstanding!Prepare to be boarded!
May 22, 2025 at 12:38 pm #296627Tubs , a ton of work went into all 3 in the video, along with the Cub. They run and look as new, bravo. That dual steering setup on the Pals was very innovative . Could you shoot a few still photos? Anxiously awaiting seeing them cruise on the lake.
I hope the weather holds out for your Maine vacation, after working diligently on these all year.
I check the water levels daily on Lake Champlain where I go for my summer vacation, and the levels, because of all the rain are the highest in 5 years! This makes boating difficult because of problems with dock positions, no shoreline etc. Fingers crossed it drops before July. Hopefully Maine hasn’t had the same weather pattern. I guess just to be safe you should pack that great bilge pump arrangement you made in the wooden box.Bob D

May 23, 2025 at 11:09 am #296684No work Bob. It was all fun for me. The weather in Maine has been lousy but I don’t think they have been getting heavy rain though. I’ll be finding out in a little over 3 weeks. Got into Three Lakes Wi. last night for a long weekend. There is a lake in front of our camp and another across the street. 42 degrees when we got up with a 10 mph+ breeze. Forecast high is 52. No boat rides today. Less wind tomorrow and a high of 65 which is just about the same as Maine when we get there. Here’s to good weather for the both of us. When I get home I post some pictures of the linkage I made for the Pals. It’s more Boathouse than innovative.

May 29, 2025 at 8:23 am #296867Nice job Tubs!
I have 2 Handitwins that would be fun to run together. I saw a similar set-up on (3) 3hp Johnson’s at Tomahawk a few years ago.
Tub’s you may not have the tool, you certainly do have the skills!!
Thanks for sharing.
