Got a new rotor now pumping water ok it seems. Take the plug out of the back of the reservoir and it flows out strong. See no further passages for circulation without schematic of system. Presumption is water in the reservoir is being splashed up against the cylinders for cooling. Looking for corrections. This wouldn’t seem very efficient.

Not sure what you’re referring to as the "reservoir", but basically,
from the pump rotor water discharges up a tube into the bottom of the
power head, circulating around the cylinders and head, then back
down out the bottom of the power head into the exhaust tube.
The "Tell – Tale" on these is half way up the lower unit. Just a hole
above the asbestos saddle that some exhaust and water blows out.
This video shows the water discharging……..

There is a 300626 water tube that carries the water to the powerhead. . . 🙂

Reservoir is where water tube supplies water under the cylinders. See no way from there to circulate water further why I was thinking the water is splashed from there up to the cylinders especially the bottoms of the cylinders?
