      Greetings,

I am very excited to say that I am the proud owner of a Water Witch Model 571.33. It has SN of 7258 on the base of the bottom plate, and a frame SN of AC9105. This suggest a 1940 model year.

The motor has good compression, but no spark. Request help. What type of spark plug do I use? Where can I find a replacement coil and points? Is there an instruction manual on how to install these parts and the proper gaps? Do I use a pully puller to remove the flywheel / head of the motor? Please help.

A "Boathouse Repair" is one that done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.

You are a miracle worker! I am amazed at the creativity that you used to get this to work. I want to do the same thing, and I need more help. My ignition plate looks exactly like yours, so I think I just need help with the following items:

          A) What model of ignition coil did you use?
          B) Did you make the laments, or did you buy them (and is there a model number). If you made them, what type of metal did you use? Do the laments need to be made out of metal, or can it be plastic / wood?
          C) do the laments need to be revited, or can I use a nut/bolt? or maybe a water-proof epoxy?

Thank you — and I watched your videos, wow… I would lto have my Water witch run that smooth. Thank you.
