I have this motor running, and pretty much sorted, I think, except for the reverse latch.
It’s possible to put the latch on the pin with a tool, but it has no desire at all to apply itself. Looks like there might be a place for a "down" spring.
The control is a black knob connected to a short piece of wire rope. What is this supposed to be connected to?
I have a parts blowup but it doesn’t show how it goes together. I have two other motors in this family with simpler and more obvious mechanisms. One has the typical sort of release lever and the other has a connection to the shift rod.
If anyone knows how this is supposed to go together and operate I’d be much obliged for an explanation.
