What Brand of(jet) outboard is this?

Hi,

I was gifted an vintage outboard a couple of years ago.

It is a kind of jet propelled outboard.
When I Got it it starten and was kind of Fun seeing it run.

I stored it for serveral years and wanted it to test last weekend.

Unfortunately it did not start. While checking for sparks I saw nothing.

I pulled the flywheel and checked gap between the points. Seems ok. But still no spark. Any ideas? I even don.t know the Brand.

Condensers don’t seem to like sitting for years, hopefully the coils are OK.

If you are lucky, maybe just cleaning the points will work. I think you might be able to attached pictures by linking to photo site like photobucket, google….

Try using imgur.com to host the pictures. It is fairly straightforward to upload there.

I don’t use the cloud for my pictures. I can sent them by mail. No problem. The thing is I can’t find any Brand name On the outboard. Neither pictures or anything on the web.

Fairly similar to my jet motor. Gas tank is different, but the powerhead is a Power Products (likely the model is an AH-47 or so)
You have a different throttle, and the ignition system is Italian Vs wherever mine came from.

Completely different foot than I’ve seen anywhere. Very cool
