      What is your guys opinion on this motor? Good buy? Bad buy? Would you says its been restored?

        I don’t know if it has been "remanufactured" as he claims, or not. It obviously did get a paint job, you be the judge of the quality.

                Yes Frank that it is…some kind of cover is now there, did not know one wa ever made for that???

                  Yeah, it looks like someone filled in the area where the remote control was attached to the throttle and spark. Mercury made a cover for that access whole.

                    Looks more like a GM truck paint color than a Mercury green. I would guess painted, not "refurbished" Personally, I would pass at that price.

                      Here’s that plate. I don’t think that is a factory correct color as implied. May be a good runner though.

                        Given that Mark 25s can be had for less, the somewhat improvised repairs and the casual paint job would keep me from inquiring further.
