      Interesting about the “sump pump” adaptation for the little motors.
      If the snow keeps melting fast, and the power goes out, I
      may need one for the basement!

        Hi Dale Good spotting! That is an older model Evinrude detachable row boat motor What you guys call an R.B.M It is one of the first of this motor with just the one large piston ring but missing the tiller handle and ignition however it will be a great display one Have attached some pics of restoration as done so far

            US MEMBER PAY BY CHECK

            It looks like one that was sold by Clinton or sold with a Clinton engine about 50-60 years ago. So I Googled Clinton outboards and came up with this one ( Matalex ” Spartan” ) in a museum in Vancouver. They may have been a 4 cycle engine.
