      Ive got a Johnson. it looks like a j25 but the flywheel pate says "J97513" can anyone tell me what year and model it is. thanks

        Hiya JJ….

        Can you post a picture? You’ll need to host the image elsewhere like photobucket or another of the numerous photo-hosting sites.

        Show these guys a picture and you’ll get all the information you need.

              US MEMBER PAY BY CHECK

              Serial number 97,513 is a 1929. That would be compatible with a J-25. That’s all I know about it.

                A "Boathouse Repair" is one thats done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.

                  Great little single cylinder motors! Easy to understand and work on. Would love to see more pics of the whole motor when you get to that point. Have fun and don’t be afraid to ask questions here-any questions! That’s what this forum is all about!

                  Tubs-where in the world did you find j000000? Or is that a replacement sheave?
