What is the correct type of lower unit lube?

      Hello everyone,

      I am working through a 1940 sportwin 3.3 hp right now and I was wondering what is the proper lower unit lubrication. Is it hyploid oil or is it some sort of grease? I’m getting thrown off by the screw saying grease next to it.

        grease I use john deer corn head grease. but lubriplate 105 is OK.
