What is the estimated Value of these outboards

I have never paid more than $100 CDN  (75U$) for  each  one  I fixed up.

From     3.9 /4 hpMerc ,4hp, cd,ad,qd ,fd, 9.5 etc.. about  20 in all  just o keep busy in the winter .

ah yes, the wife. Big problem that will only get bigger as time goes by. Tell her it’s cheaper than golf every weekend and healthier than spending the same amount of time and money at the tavern.

When my wife-to-be told her mom about my hobby, my mother-in-law asked two questions:  Who goes to these “Meets”?  The answer was “a bunch of guys in cutoff shorts and tees”.  Then, “Is there liquor at the meets?”  answered with “No, never”.  Her mom looked at her and said “You can live with that”.  There were some follow up questions on whether she could attend the meets, but her decision didn’t change.

I guess I’m fortunate that my wife recognizes I’ve made some great friends in this hobby and the cost to benefit ratio is VERY low.
