I think I’ve seen an ad that does say water skiing.

Outboard nut, if you take it off please show pictures with some measurement, I’ve never seen one of those for the pre-’55 25hp legs.

My, how many miles of ski-towing have I done with one of those? Can’t count ’em. And contrary to opinion, they do not harm the motor. In fact, they are less stress on the motor than hitching to the boat.

Found out the “M5” is for ’55-’57 Mercury Mark 55 and Mark 75.

The ’51-’54 Johnson and Evinrude 25 hp would use a Madison model # 25
