      I’ve got a chance to buy this motor, but the cover is gone and I don’t know what it is – maybe Scott-Atwater? Horsepower guess? All I have is the photo, and I don’t want to drive 30 miles unless I know what it is.

        Scott Atwater golden pendant 7 1/2 hp from what I see.

          I don’t think that’s a Pennant. The Pennant covers screw on from the sides, the rear handle is different, and so is the shift lever. I think it’s a later bail-a-matic with the cover that screws down from the top, and the lower cowl that wraps around.

            I’ll pass on this one – I’m not much into Scotts except for the few that have come my way for free.
