i have a new in box Sears Ted Williams 3hp air cooled motor and was wondering what it’s worth. I plan on selling it due to not having any use for it. Has a couple spots were paint is scratched off just from moving around in the box I suppose. Can send imagines via text since I can’t figure it out on here.

Well, I guess its worth what someone is willing to pay you right? Sorry about the vague answer, but there is no set guide to pricing these.

The pro’s are its neat to have a NOS motor. Maybe find someone that had one as a kid that wants to display it.

The cons are that the Sears Ted Williams are not real desirable motors, among collectors anyways, so I personally do not see it fetching big bucks. Been wrong before though.

Your best bet on that is Ebay. Start the bidding at $59.00 and see what happens with a 7 day auction. You will find your largest pool of buyers on there. Probably wont go for much if you will not ship it, but I think that’s your best bet

Hmm….lots of smaller TW engines around but not many 3’s new in box. You may do pretty well with it. Shoot some pics of it if you would. One of the fellows used to work for them around here somewhere.
